Want to know the easiest way to lose 10 lbs…wait fot it…GET SMALLER DISHES! Would you believe that that is the same amount of cereal in both bowls. Literally measured out a cup of cereal (Special K Oats & Honey) poured it from one bowl to the other.
It’s a mind trick that I picked up, don’t remember where. With smaller dishes you can have the same sized portion but because it’s filling the plate your mind (and those eyes that are often bigger than your stomach) thinks that you are full or at least should be. Worst case scenario, if you have tiny plates you may be eating half portions and can go back for “seconds” with a clear conscience.
