Day 10: Just Keep Squatting…

I try not to complain a lot…cause I don’t want any of you to stop reading.  But I really need to make some changes in my life.  And that’s all I’m going to say on the matter.

Does anybody know a way to make squats less boring?  I started the 30 Day Squat challenge.  So far my legs hurt and I’m bored.  I know I found all these different ways to do crunches so that I could mix it up but what about squats? I would add a kettle ball…if I could afford one!  There has got to be some way to make a dance out of it or something besides just “down and up and down and up and down and up and down.” (Britney Spears- Up and Down)  Maybe that’s what I’ll do…

I was thinking about video taping work outs.  It was awhile ago when I got really excited about having a blog and how to get readers and I thought hey what if I made a “work out video”?  It could be me doing the work outs that I was doing anyway to loose weight and I would give full disclosure that I am not a Fitness Guru nor a professional I am just a simple fat girl who wanted to share her weight loss journey with all of YouTube.  I decided not to for fear of the YouTube Bullies but maybe I will.  I will have to put more thought into this.  What do you think?  Does it at least sound entertaining?

The scale doesn’t seem to be moving.  It’s been about a week and I haven’t lost anymore weight.

    For squats you can switch them up by moving your toes out to work the inner thighs and you can also slightly elevate your heels (with toes forward) to work the thighs a bit more. Make sure you get in some high intensity cardio (get the heart rate way up), that’s one of the most important exercise components for weight loss. Maybe going outside and doing a 2 min power walk, and a 2 min slower walk for 30 minutes. If you can find a cheaper gym close that has some group fitness classes that would be the best, take a friend with you to make it more fun 🙂
